Bert Langenkamp

Bert Langenkamp (foto Anne Dokter)Bert Langenkamp studied at the Twente Conservatory with Herman Hopman, going on to study with Peter Masseurs at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. After graduating in 1994, he joined the Arnhem Philharmonic Orchestra for one season, a post he combined with freelance work with various orchestras and ensembles.

He held the position of principal trumpeter of the North Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra from 1998 to 2001, joining the ranks of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in January 2001.

He gives regular solo concerts with organ and is currently a member of the Brass of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the David Kweksilber Big Band.
